I’m a wife to my amazing husband (going 22+ years strong), a mum to a gorgeous school-aged boy and a spirited toddler girl, and a chocolate-loving, tea-drinking romantasy reader!

I qualified as a social worker in 2011 and embarked on a rewarding career with children and families, something I was very passionate about and couldn’t imagine leaving. But that career humbled me quick! Overwhelm, anxiety and sleepless nights very quickly became my norm.

I never thought I’d make a drastic change, maybe just a change of employer, but everything shifted when our daughter was born and I had a strong desire to leave my career behind. I came across an ad and found something that I really resonated with and was true to my values. So I started my online business, didn’t return to work at the end of my maternity leave, and I have been doing this ever since!

The heart of social work - empowering and uplifting others - is still at the core of who I am. When I found an opportunity that let me support other women (especially mums), while also creating financial stability for my family, it was a no-brainer for me! And not forgetting the added bonus of having something for me, that lights me up, and that allows me to be more than just “mum”.
